11 - 18 May 2009 at Saint-Petersburg, Russia

The aim of this project is to create the platform to study, share and analyze the contemporary dance education, development and research issues. Purpose of the project is to deepen the experience, to share ideas and to discuss issues of:

-Knowledge and skills: the features of dance pedagogic approaches in different countries, with different culture and social groups, with different professional focus.

— Genesis and language: the historical background and contemporary realization of such aspects of dance as art, culture, social, health (therapy). To discuss also the problem of understanding the contemporary dance terminology.

— Politics and organization: the features of culture politic of countries with a different social and culture background, the relationship with state, with non-governmental organizations and funds. To create the international network of organizers, researchers, teachers and institutions who involved in the different aspects of contemporary dance pedagogic and research.

This project is deepen and widening the achievements of the international seminar «Pervocvet», held by our organization last year.

The program of the seminar consists from the workshops, lectures, discussions and performances in the period from 10 yo 20 May 2009 the same time with the annual BODY WORD festival.
